Starting a Yoga Practice at Home
Wednesdays, April 22 and 29 7:00 - 9:00pm
A two part workshop to guide you in developing a home yoga practice.
Part 1 will outline tips in getting started, review the broad classes of poses, sequencing and timings of poses within a practice, and participants will write out a personal contract. Sample practices will be individually revised and one personal practice designed to use for a week.
Part 2 will build on the first week, with some group work, exploring kinds of practices with a a discussion on special practices. Note taking will be encouraged and handouts given during both evenings.
This workshop is suitable for students with a minimum of 6 months experience in a regular class or by permission.
